NFR is the rodeo championship and a huge draw to Vegas in an otherwise dead time of the year.
Considering the way much of the rodeo demographic thinks about immigrants I always thought it was funny that their crowning event sounds like it was named by someone fresh off the boat from Asia. National Finals Rodeo.

^ I still remember being at the craps table at either TI or Mirage (cant remember) when i was in Vegas from that time i mentioned above.
